PINCH
PUNCH FIRST OF THE MONTH
Well
Saturday 8th January saw our first homing
of the year. Once again this terrible
winter we are having put pay to us
getting over yesterday but today,
although not the most perfect of days,
our wonderful pilot Chris decided we
would be o.k.

Looking out
of the plane's window Diesel bids
farewell to his old life. Sorry it's
blurred!
A later
than usual start, so as to let the
weather clear a bit, meant Diesel, the
new boy, didn't get to meet Tom and Ann,
his new mum and dad, till about 4.30pm
but boy was he worth waiting for. A
beautiful shiny black dog and guess what
nice teeth!! always a plus. For those of
you that know anything about greyhounds
they are a doggy dentists delight!

Ann and Tom
welcome their new family member
This lad
was brought down to the airport by Ann
Raymond from Mildenhall R.G.T., and
tonight will be the first time he has
slept in a lovely soft bed (I am informed
he has two one upstairs and one down but
my money is on Tom and Ann's bed) been
warm and cosy and spoilt rotton. No more
kennel life for Diesel.

I think we
have a suitably proud dad here!!!!
So Diesel
becomes our first greyhound to be homed
in 2011 and we hope that he will be
shortly following by a second, third and
many more not only in Jersey but the rest
of the Islands.
Our thanks
once again go to, yep that man who has
earned his greyhound wings, Chris and to
Ann Raymond and Noreen who we met for the
first time today and of course our new
owners Tom and Ann.
