MIXED DOUBLES
We have been busy little
bees these last few weeks with talks at St.
Martins and St. Saviour's schools and more
recently we attended La Pouquelaye W.I. and the
14th First Tower Brownie Guide Pack.

Some of the ladies at the La
Pouquelaye W.I.
We would like to do more
talks for W.I.'s and similar so please do get in
touch if you have a slot you need filling.

Wiz, Lewis, Gump, Ziggy, Fonz and Fern
What was so satisfying about
this talk was a little girl called Olivia seen on
the far right of the photo. When we arrived she
was very apprehensive about the dogs and indeed
stayed at the back of the group. By the end of
our talk she had relaxed a bit and to our delight
ended up patting the dogs and taking our little
fawn bitch Fern, seen with her above, for a
little potter round the room. Result!!!

Olivia the little girl in
question with Fern
We do these talks to raise
awareness of the plight of these dogs, these
children are the next generation so if they can
learn from our chats hopefully greyhound racing
and the cruelty involved with it may become less
although we know it will never be stamped out.
Also, like Olivia, because
they are such a placid breed we sometimes find
that children who are a little wary of dogs find
their confidence with our guys because they are
so calm.
PLEASE GET IN TOUCH IF YOU
WOULD LIKE US TO DO A TALK OR SCHOOL ASSEMBLY FOR
YOU.
