 ALISON 1 - JOHN 1

Thank goodness for Alison and John as with Mal still in hospital John, over at their place in the U.K., was able to fetch our latest homing a young black gal called Honey (yes I know she's black!) and drop her off in Guernsey where her new life will begin. A few weeks ago Alison did us the same kindness bringing Lily across thank goodness we have still been able to home even with Mal being so poorly. Big thank you's to the both of you.

Honey's new owners the Hannis's have a family wedding tomorrow so Mick one of our owners in Guernsey with Blue and Monty is keeping Honey overnight and tomorrow then she will go to her new home on Tuesday morning. Bless her bit of a journey but hopefully from then on she will be finally settled in her new abode.

Honey is only a youngster at 2 1/2 years but decided that this racing game was not for her. She used to get cramps so in the end she was retired at that tender age lucky little girl.

Of course as always our sincere thanks to Sharon for firstly finding this little dog (and she is little) for us and also for once again bringing her down. To John for picking her up and taking her to her'Gloucester Hotel' and to meet some of Al and John's dogs on holiday there at the moment, then for dropping her off in Guernsey before returning home. To Mick for taking her home for a couple of nights (apparently Blue and Monty are thrilled cor a gal) and of course to Maggie and Chris and Abbie their other greyhound for giving this little one a chance.

After nearly 5 months in hospital Mal is hopefully coming out in the next week. It has been a difficult time but we hope things might get back to sort of normal and we may be able to do a couple of shows.
