 DOUBLE DECKER BUS SYNDROME!!!!

You know when you stand waiting for a bus for ages then two come along at the same time, well this is a bit of a similar situation. No greyhound homes for a few months, then bingo 4 come along at the same time!!!

Three very excited pooches arrive in Guernsey

left to right - Zephyr, Treacle and Lexi

We have first time owners, James and Katie in Guernsey. They have chosen a little fawn bitch called Treacle. She is only 2 and was one of those 'sensible' gals that decided racing was not her cup of tea so welcome little one to your new home.

Then we have Sue and Rob, dear me they are totally adicted. Having lost their precious little girl Bubbles in July 2014 at only 8, to keep Duke company they acquired Cauchy but have now decided they need a woman to keep the boys in order, enter Lexi another 2 year old blue girl with only 6 races under her belt as she too wasn't up to scratch, racings loss is Sue and Rob's gain and we also welcome this little one also to Guernsey.

Finally Greycott Gromitt now to be called Zephyr. Well this little man did race, in fact 87 times bless him. Due to a mess up about his age (now 7) he was overlooked and has spent the last two years in kennels watching his pals come and go. Well today is his lucky day he not only gets to travel with two gals, but is coming to live with Sue and Dave in Jersey. Back in August they lost their beloved greyhound Jimmy Longlegs and have not really had much to smile about since. We know that when you loose a dog the pain is just unbearable but we also know that that dog (or cat) would hate to think that their mums and dads were so uphappy and I am sure that Jimmy would be thrilled to know his folks were giving a home to one of his buddies thus saving another one of these beautiful hounds.

So all delivered safely by Chris and his little plane. Once again thanks to Sharon from Brambleberry RGT for once again finding us such beauties.

Weather permitting greyhound number 4 will be coming to Jersey but he will be coming straight to our house as we felt this shy little man who has been overlooked for a year needed to come into our inviroment and made much braver as with our lovely Nog a few years ago. Oh plus have to stop off in Guernsey as Sue and Rob, not content with their delivery today and their other 2 greyhounds, are welcoming a puppy bulldog into their gang.
